See a special report from San Francisco as the city counts down to the 2015 CYC (Continental Youth Championships) from July 28-August 2.

Teams will travel from across the United States and Canada to compete on Treasure Island in what is the biggest youth GAA event outside Ireland.

Ahead of the CYC, Jerome Quinn visits a training session in San Francisco for U-16 hurlers who are all American-born.

'I started at U-6 and ever since I've just loved it' says Ronan Orford, while Kieran Manning says 'It's the best sport around, it's my favourite by far'.

Eric Kenneally from San Francisco GAA says hurling is becoming more popular and he reckons the CYC is going to be a 'massive success'.
