London GAA is willing to sell the naming rights to the redeveloped Emerald Grounds in Ruislip.

Chairman Noel O'Sullivan revealed that the board will seek offers for the naming rights for their headquarters. O'Sullivan was speaking at yesterday's official ceremony to mark the beginning of the €5 million revamp at Ruislip.

Already, Cavan, Longford, Carlow and Wexford have sold the naming rights to their county grounds, while the GAA was yesterday forced to refute a newspaper report that director-general Paraic Duffy was open to the idea of selling the naming rights to Croke Park.

"It's a possibility," the London chairman told RTE.

"There are negotiations going on at the moment with a couple of parties, who are very keen to name this ground in the name of their companies."

O'Sullivan added: "We are absolutely delighted to be at this stage of the project. We didn't want to rush the project and we wanted to make sure it was done properly and not to start something where there would be hiccups in the future.

"It has been a long time coming, and without the help of Croke Park, they have brought us to where we are today without a shadow of a doubt."
