Austin Gleeson has attributed Waterford's success so far in 2015 to their dog-like work rate.

Na Deise have gained promotion to Division 1A and are also through to a league semi-final clash with Munster rivals Tipperary on Sunday week - a great return so far for Derek McGrath's new-look side.

"We believe in the game plan big time," the hugely-versatile young Mount Sion clubman comments in The Irish Daily Star. "Derek, Dan [Shanahan] and Fintan [O'Connor] are really driving it into us.

"We are going for it and we believe in everything we are doing. We are compacting everything and working like dogs. That's the main thing that's helping us. Every time there is a ball on the ground there's four or five of us around it and that's what we have to do.

"We just have to keep driving on now and see what happens when we play Tipp. We will have our hands full with Tipp. They are flying and really dominating everyone.

"Last year, the fans were disappointed at how we went and we said at the start of the year we are trying to get everyone back together with us."
