David Coldrick will referee the 2015 All-Ireland club football championship final between Corofin and Slaughtneil.

The Meath official has been in the headlines this year as he was heavily criciticised by Tipperary manager Peter Creedon following the Premier County's opening-round league loss to Armagh last month and was also in Brian McIver's line of fire after Derry's draw with Tyrone in Omagh on Saturday night.

The GAA this evening announced that Coldrick will be the man in the middle for the March 17th football decider at Croke Park.

The Blackhall Gaels clubman will be joined by another 3 Meath men on his umpire team, Seamus McCormack Walterstown, Ronan Garry Donaghmore Ashbourne and Stephen O'Hare Syddan. Cavan and Ballinagh's Conor Dourneen completes the team.

Wexford official James Owens has been named as the referee for the hurling final between Ballyhale Shamrocks and Kilmallock on the same bill.
