Breen wants to keep playing

Limerick forward David Breen believes losing the Munster final may have benefited them.

The Shannonsiders lost their provincial crown to Cork last month, but they were back in action last weekend when they recorded a comfortable win over Wexford in the qualifiers.

Instead of having a five-week break from the provincial decider to the All-Ireland semi final, which they did last year, Limerick have been kept ticking over by the Wexford game.

And Breen told the Limerick Leader that could stand them to them in the semi final against Kilkenny, unlike last year when they flopped against Clare.

"For me I just want to keep playing matches, I don't like hanging around for five weeks - we just want to keep playing matches and we will go back training and work hard and go from there," said Breen.
