Connacht U20FC: Galway see off limited Leitrim

Galway will face Roscommon in the Connacht U20FC final after easing to a 13-point victory over Leitrim at Elphin this afternoon.

Cathal Sweeney kicked three points, while Matthew Cooley scored the only goal as Donal O Fatharta's charges took control in the second half after only leading by 0-4 to 0-1 at the break. Leitrim's only scores came from an Oisin McLoughlin free in the first half and a Tom Prior effort from play shortly after the restart.

Cooley netted in the 47th minute to make it 1-9 to 0-2 before late points from Ryan Monaghan, Paul Kelly and Eoin Mannion wrapped up Galway's win.
