Lundy: we can adapt

Michael Lundy scores a goal for Corofin against Ballintubber in the Connacht club SFC final

Corofin’s Michael Lundy believes that their ability to adapt to any style of football has played a part in their success to date.

The defending All-Ireland club SFC champions put their title on the line when they take on 2017 winners Dr Crokes in what has been billed as the battle of the champions.

Corofin have looked ominous over the course of the past and no matter what the opposition have thrown up to them, they have come up with a way of grinding out a win.

And their ability to do that is what Lundy believes has got them this far as they prepare for what should be a cracking game on St Patrick’s Day.

“Ideally, we’d love to be playing free flowing football but like we’ve shown in the past year gone by, we’ll go any way you want,” Lundy told the Kerryman.

“We’d happily take a poor game and a good result, rather than a good game and a bad result. That’s the way we are looking at it.”
