Former Galway star Cyril Donnellan admits that Limerick has him "worried" ahead of this Sunday's Liam MacCarthy Cup showdown.
A member of the All-Ireland winning Tribesmen squad 12 months ago, the now retired Donnellan believes John Kiely's side pose a serious threat to his ex team-mates chances of back-to-back titles.
"You'd be worried that Limerick are an excellent-calibre team, what they've done in the semi-final and the Kilkenny game, those two games alone, like, it's not impossible what they're trying to do," he remarked to the Irish Independent.
"In 2012, Galway were a very young team that got to a final, obviously didn't win it, but went very, very close so you would be worried.
"The word is that they could be a small little bit naive, but naive in a good way, that they'll just embrace the day and go at it because they're a young team.
"They might feel that they could get another chance again and that it's not the high pressure of an All-Ireland final, that they could just go out and express themselves."
