Galway minor boss Donal O Fathartha was delighted with how his team responded to the concession of two first-half goals against Meath in Saturday's semi-final.
The Tribesmen produced an impressive second-half display to overturn a four-point half-time deficit and set up a final clash with Kerry.
"It can go either way with young lads," he remarked to the Irish Independent following their 3-13 to 2-9 victory over the Royals.
"They can either drop the heads or keep going, so we're delighted that they kept going.
"It was tough, and there were a lot of guys out on their feet, but we had momentum late on."
