Team news: Tribe minors welcome back basketball star Kelly

August 10, 2018

Left, Galway's Paul Kelly celebrates and right, the Moycullen star after winning the U19B Boys All-Ireland Schools Cup final with St Pauls, Oughterard.

Paul Kelly is back in the Galway team ahead of the All-Ireland MFC semi-final meeting with Meath at Croke Park tomorrow.

A younger brother of Tribe senior star Sean and son of late Galway legend Pádraig 'Dandy', Kelly missed the quarter-final win against Clare as he was in European Championship action with the U18 Ireland basketballers in Kosovo on the same weekend.

It will be a proud day for the Kelly family from Moycullen with Paul lining out at midfield for Donal Ó Fatharta's minors, while afterwards, Sean is set to feature for Kevin Walsh's senior footballers in their All-Ireland SFC semi-final clash with Dublin.
