Fulham Irish may be written off by many ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland club SFC quarterfinal, but Corofin manager Kevin O'Brien is adamant that they will not take the London champions for granted.

The Galway and Connacht champions are unbackable at 1/20 to come through this clash and advance to the semi-final as they seek their third All-Ireland club SFC title.

Despite this, O'Brien told the Connacht Tribune that Fulham Irish have some excellent players in their side and that they expect a tough match in less than ideal conditions.

"It's a game that we are very much looking forward to. It's an All-Ireland quarterfinal, it's championship, albeit in January, and the prize at the end of it is an All-Ireland semi-final," said O'Brien.

"It's a bit different travelling to London, but it's not that long of a flight and at this level you just have to be totally focused. They are a very good side. They have players who would have represented their county at under-18 and under-21 and they even have a couple of All-Ireland medals thrown in at senior level as well, so they have the players.

"A lot of club teams and even county teams have gone over to London and had lucky escapes in the past few seasons, so we're mindful that our mindset has to be right and it's no easy task."
