It seems to be ok for U/21 championship games to be played midweek under lights so why not have the odd televised national league game midweek when two counties who are in close proximity to each other play off on a Tuesday or Wednesday night? Would be something to watch during the week and a good advertisement for GAA. G.A.A._fan (Laois) - Posts: 102 - 14/03/2017 17:33:46 1967018 Link 1 |

If I remember correctly players were opposed to Friday nights due to work commitments , god knows what they make of a match ?

When players turn professional then we can expect them to play mid-week games. Posters above seem to be concerned only about spectators.

I would enjoy mid week games. However the Tyrone Donegal game went on to 10 last night and I didn't have to travel too far to get home. Donegal ones wouldn't of been home till very late. The_Fridge (Tyrone) - Posts: 2088 - 16/03/2017 20:44:30 1967686 Link 0 |
