Carlow to beat Leitrim (Best priced @ 11/10 with Ladbrokes)

Get on the Scallioneaters away this weekend and in their following two games against Waterford (home) and Wicklow (away).

They really f**cked up losing to London but put a line through the round 2 result and their form is solid with a deserved draw against Westmeath and a hard earned win against Limerick.

Leitrim were on the receiving end of a twelve point beating by Westmeath in Mullingar last weekend. Their second defeat from three games.

Some might laugh but I actually fancy Carlow to win promotion @ 13/2 with Westmeath (who I think will do them a favour and beat Wexford) and can see their final round game at home to Wexford being a winner takes all clash with the Scallioneaters getting one over the Strawberrypickers.

Going back to this weekend's game in Carrick-on-Shannon, Carlow won the same fixture last March by four points and are set to welcome back their top scorer Paul Broderick after suspenson.

Laois hurlers are down a number of key players for their game against Galway. Stephen Maher, Matthew Whelan and Charles Dwyer are all out. Galway on the handicap any prices?

Meath 5/4 to beat Galway. At home Meath are a different team to on travels. D Tobin back is a massive boost. No early goals and Meath should prevail, Galway have a atrocious record in navan also.

Also think my own county have a great chance of upsetting Louth today. Maybe it's just my saffron tinted glasses but I'll have a dabble.

-12 is 21/20 with Bet365. Might have a play on this as the weather isn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would have been
