also its a help for the team relegated from mccarthy cup in that if they win the christy ring they can get back into qualifiers. does the christy ring winner get a home draw , i think they should

In my own humble opinion teams finishing 3rd and 4th in the qualifier group and the Ring finalists should enter the qualifiers being drawn against 4 losing provincial quarter-finalists.

fair point maybe not the 4th team but certainly the third and give them home advantage , try and promote the games
