only a 50% win ratio in the league this season and a 0% win record at home. Atrocious record that would need to improve fast if they want to convince everybody that they are not a spent force.

Ahh sure I'm only messing too

This magnificent run of sheer legendary greatness will soon come to an end

And then it will be up to everyone else to top it

As true sports people I hope you've enjoyed it, and can appreciate it for what it is.. Greatness.

Ohh how they will speak about this Dublin team, you'll be listening about this team for the rest of your lives.

The greatest team to ever play the game, have no doubts about that. Accept it, embrace it, you'll be a better person after it.

You're living through it.. what a privilege.

If still unbeaten by St Patricks weekend, they'll be going down to Kerry looking to equal the record, that of the Kerry team from the 1930's.
That game is going to be a cracker

Up to Ballybofey next , great town was up there in '13 for the drawn game had a great night on the Saturday lovely people great hospitality. Donegal will be without Mcbreaty so that's a massive plus to keep our unbeaten record going but it's never easy up there no matter who's they've got playing. One thing I've noticed their not going ultra defensive so far this year it will be interesting to see if they do against us.

I hope the record is up for grabs when they go down to Killarney. As Colm Keys today said in regards the unbeaten record:
"That milestone may be more than 80 years ago now but they guard their heritage with the care of museum curators in Kerry and, if it comes to pass, that promises to be quite an occasion."

It'll be some task to be unbeaten in their next 2 games though, Donegal at home are no slouches and Mayo, well who knows what Mayo team will show up in Croke Park. As bad as they looked against Monaghan they were the complete reverse against Kerry beating them in their own back yard without a number of their big names.

Some might play down the importance of the league but you only have to look at some of the challenges and the intensity in some of the games over the weekend to show how important it is to the players involved

It should have already come to an end against Tyrone

Leggy, slow, laboured Dublin performance, very sloppy in possession, poor hand passing even when no Tyrone lads near them, the weather benefited Tyrone's setup, weeks behind fitness wise, missed a penalty, Gavin emptied the bench and we went down to 14 men with McCarthy's injury losing our advantage

A lot went wrong and of course a lot of that was down to Tyrone too

Yet they still salvaged a point, and now have two weeks to sit at top of the league and gain a bit more freshness and match fitness, no doubting that recent challenge will be worth it's weight in gold.

As for beating a record setup in the 1930's, I'd personally have no great pleasure in that and I don't think it's really comparable

Two very different era's, for me Dublin's current run considering how much better the game has become, in everyway, far outweighs the game when lads were wearing caps and smoking.

I honestly don't see Dublin's current run being beaten in the modern era anytime soon

It's almost freakish.

I don't know if this is something to be celebrated or mourned. It just saddens me to think what the GAA are doing long term to the Organisation and where will we be in 15-20 years seeing what direction they have taken us this last 15-20 in both codes. I fear they are driving us towards an elite, premier league style GAA.

Arent there some doubts about what the existing record is, i thought all the historical evidence was a bit sketchy and no really knows when the longest unbeaten run has been. Its nice but not the be all and end all.

Im not surprised to hear Kerry think they have it though! :)
