Tom is a Castlebar man and would be quite loyal to Pat Holmes so it is hardly a surprise he wishes it was done differently.

Should be a great read, heard that the chapters on the coup, player/manager role & his attempts to make the trip to Rio after his 10:10:10 dive make for riveting reading.....................

Expect new and exclusive footage of him being tripped just before he gamely tried to stay on his feet, how he was the lone voice backing Holmes and Connelly and what he really thinks of Philly. Definitely a stocking filler.

They were right to change from Connelly and Holmes but they could have handled the media coverage about it a lot better. There was nothing too different about their management and after losing 7 finals playing gunghoball it was well overdue that a new management team tried something a bit different. Rochford and McEntee may never win Sam for us and made well-publicised mistakes but I think they're way ahead of Connelly and Holmes management abilities to get us an All Ireland.
