Just thought I'd throw up a thread for this seeing as there isn't one.

Brigids v Corofin the stand out game this weekend, what's posters thoughts?

I see Vincent's are out right favourites and I would never write them off they could easily win it out but I just don't think there playing at the same level of their all Ireland winning season.

Crokes look very strong this year as well

Terrible start for the Nire.Their star forward Gleeson has so far given a free away for picking the ball off the ground, another free away for over carrying, kicked one poor wide and let a good ball bounce off his chest to give away possession.Very poor stuff and the game is done and dusted.

Well the 2013 & 2015 All Ireland champions playing would be a bigger game in the minds of most people.

Back to earth with a bang for The Nire.
Looked really poor today.Crokes looked impressive but hard to tell against a team who looked way out of their depth.

Junior me aul Deise pal, don't be too down on the Nire's dreadful non-performance.After all,it is still three points short of the Munster final drubbing that Tipp dished out to Austin and the lads a few months back (:

Corofin v Dr Crokes

Two great semi finals to look forward to and a great final as well no matter who wins.

The Nire took a bit of a drubbing today but that Crokes side look like they will be there on Paddys day.

A really terrible performance from St Brigids today, 14 wides and just 5 scores is so unusual to what Brigids have shown in Connacht or Roscommon the last ten years matter of fact you have to go back to 2006 since they lost a Connacht final or to 2005 since they lost to Galway opposition (5 wins from 5 games before today)

Corofin were ruthless scored two goals from basic errors like any good team would do and they scored 13 points from 16 attempts. Thats some going for the end of November, best of luck to them in the All Ireland series i think they are the team to beat.

A very impressive performance from Corofin today. They played fantastic football which any GAA follower would have to admire. The conditions suited their brand of football - the pitch looked in great nick, there was no wind or rain and Brigids didn't opt to go defensive. They will be difficult to beat but, no doubt, they will run into sweepers to try to take the sting out of that full forward line

I'll be accused of being anti Cork again now but I have to say this; how the hell did that Waterford team beat a Cork football team wtf is going on down there? The Nire would be a division 2 team if they played in Dublin they were shocking yesterday.
