Just read his comments on what to do with the black card - makes complete sense! To keep the game moving, punish cynicism with a 50m carry forward and forget the black card. Cynicism gets punished on the scoreboard, the game flows, players don't get sent off after a few minutes. I'd add two things to that. Punish cynicism with a yellow as we already have that card and secondly, if a clear goal chance is denied, award a penalty.

I think al that makes sense but what about in a case of an offensive foul where by the letter of the law it is deemed to be a black card offence deemed as cynicism like James McCarthy's in the drawn all ireland final. Play went on until the linesman made the ref aware of the incident and then a black card was awarded. Would you give a free 50m carried forward then?
