Are Dublin running on empty?

(Oldest Posts First)

Doing back to back all Ireland's is a difficult thing! Dublin look like it has taken its toll on them, especially flynn and brogan. Against kerry they looked shakey and disapproved further again yesterday. I am wondering have they anything left in the tank to go again in 2 wks? Yesterday was the first time dublin didn't finish the stronger team since the donegal game in 2014!

That's why in my opinion they need to freshen things up a little. Andrews, O' Gara and mannion for starts the next day with Bastick in the middle?
It is a worry but then again they led on the 70th minute as bad as they were so only time will tell.

McManamon be MDMA are great impact subs.

Not starting them the next day might get the most out of them.

The thing I worry about is the level of training you here that the dubs do! It must all take a toll not just physically but mentally as well. I think another 2 wks will do them more harm then good. The only other teams I can compare dublin to with regards the intensity they bring are tyrone and donegal and they always suffered burn out following winning an all ireland, it just seems at the moment that the juggernaut is coming to a halt!

I really thought that the additional added time that we are seeing this year would work in dublins favour but it was mayo who finished the stronger

You have the insight track on the Dubs training, well in so considering Kevin Mcs brother revealed in an article that kevin doesn't even divulge anything to him. Sure didn't kerry go abroad, went to a secluded island for a weekend and trained behind closed doors so they must have the feet up!!!

Well considering these near professional athletes had May, June and July off I don't think you can blame yesterdays performance on tiredness

Their performance in the replay will prove this..
