Interesting idea by Mayo management .
Can't see a pep talk in a training camp changing any tactical strategy not already made by Mayo

But it was either

1) a general speech about focus - eyes on the prize etc.
2) he was asked to speak on intensity needed to execute a pre planned ambush/blanket
3) just a smoke screen by Mayo to suggest that they have something up their sleeve b

Think it's more likely a bit if 1 & 3 but interesting none the less

I'd imagine its a bit of a speech ,if you want to know what he said just look up his newspaper articles from the last few days and weeks in what he thinks mayo should do . Something about belief and getting 12 men behind the ball every time rather than 7 or 8

Also for mayo to be risky and take a lot of chances and to play with aggression ,wonder how their tactics will reflect this on Sunday

If Jims still interested in giving advice to a GAA team it would fit him better to take up the reins with Donegal again.

If Mayo win its a great ploy. If they lose no one remembers.

They would have been better employing a hitman to get that last survivor of the curse.

None of the above.

Mayo have confirmed that 'Jim Mc Guinness wasn't within 100 miles of their training camp'

Was M Carney spinning a yarn for the media?
