I like it. Wouldn't it be cool if one Hoganstand poster was a constant host for football, and one for hurling, So for example, You GnR would host the football podcast, And every week or second week you had 2 or 3 posters join you for a debate on all things GAA depending on who is playing. So for example if Dublin where playing Mayo, like in the upcoming all Ireland final, You could host, With guests Jimbodub and YewTree, Have a neutral like GameOfTyrones aswell. Then the following week if there was a game like Kilkenny v Galway in the hurling, You could have Pinkie hosting, with Corkcelt as a neutral and JonCarter from Galway and Ballydalane from Kilkenny Id subscribe to that. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 04/09/2016 19:59:39 1909955 Link 0 |
That'd be excellent. Many of the topics to speak on would be already found on the forum. Everyone would look forward to the Cavan games for TomSmith. Whammo86 (Antrim) - Posts: 4172 - 04/09/2016 20:08:14 1909961 Link 0 |
There should be a set team, like on second captains, you need an anchor with charisma and a knowledge of both codes. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8571 - 04/09/2016 20:10:39 1909965 Link 0 |
Agree you would need someone with charisma to host it, Pinkie or Corkcelt would be excellent hosts in the hurling. Actually think you as a former IC player yourself would be a good host in the football. Would definitely go with different panelists every week or at least rotate them, Would be cool to have well respected posters discuss the big upcoming game together and a neutral to balance things up. No BS tolerated though, The craic and a bit of a laugh, nothing too professional but not a stage to just rip the piddle either. Could then have the same two posters who previewed the game, review it then afterwards. I definitely think its a good idea. Not likely, but a good idea all the same waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 04/09/2016 20:19:44 1909969 Link 0 |
This has TomSmith written all over it, he'd be perfect as host, reporter and chief interviewer. if_in_doubt (Kildare) - Posts: 3685 - 04/09/2016 20:45:02 1909974 Link 1 |
