Kick-out rule?

(Oldest Posts First)

Has the kick-out rule changed? Cluxton repeatedly kicked-out the ball from the 13 metre line after it had gone out for a wide. Should they not have been taken from inside the small square?

2.7 (a) When the ball is played over the endline by the Team attacking that end, or after a score is made, play is restarted by a kick-out off the ground from the 13m line and within the large rectangle.

A rule in place for years, I often wonder how often some on here watch any football.

Does the kick-out have to go beyond the 21yard line?? There were a few from both sides that didn't.
