Fair play to the GAA for being open to the option of a group stage. It'll be a great platform for the GAA's finest silver.

In time it could possibly be expanded to 16 with teams offered the incentive of 3 home games for winning their province. All others in their group can have 1 game each.

For now , hopefully the group stage will get enough support to become a reality.
