To me Tyrone are improving and Mayo look worse than last year(which is ironic considering that they got rid of management),I think Tyrone are big favourites for this one.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 30/07/2016 19:39:20 1892436 Link 0 |
At the moment you'd have to fancy Tyrone, Mayo are playing poorly so far this year, and could have been caught today. Tyrone are flying, it's going to take a big improvement from Mayo if they are to get through this. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8591 - 30/07/2016 19:45:10 1892440 Link 1 |
Tyrone have come on no doubt about it..but i wouldnt be writing mayo off here..makings off 2 great games next week in croker..im going with de dubs and a draw mayo and tyrone.. GGdub (Dublin) - Posts: 260 - 30/07/2016 19:50:54 1892446 Link 0 |
Have to agree. Mayo were very sloppy this evening. Put the game to bed then woke it up again. Westmeath were plucky and never threw in the towel, but should never have been given the chance. Tyrone will be favourites, no doubting that. Pericles (Mayo) - Posts: 2521 - 30/07/2016 19:53:10 1892449 Link 0 |
IMO still Dublin, Mayo, Tyrone, Kerry - until results prove otherwise! sam2008 (Tyrone) - Posts: 797 - 30/07/2016 19:53:40 1892451 Link 0 |
I have not seen any improvement in Mayo's defence and Tyrone's hard running game should may great inroads but it will be a tight game with Tyrone coming out on top. Byanthon (Tyrone) - Posts: 1780 - 30/07/2016 20:01:17 1892456 Link 0 |
Tyrone are decent favourites. I'm a little surprised by that. 8/11 Tyrone 6/4 Mayo. I think I'd prefer Mayo at those prices. It's too close to call for me. Whammo86 (Antrim) - Posts: 4221 - 30/07/2016 20:06:33 1892458 Link 1 |

Can't understand how Tyrone can be favourites for this. Couldn't call this anymore than our game with Donegal. Exciting stuff!! Jackeen (Dublin) - Posts: 4097 - 30/07/2016 20:16:55 1892469 Link 0 |
Can't see us beating Tyrone based on performances so far...today was typical of what we are about this year. Mayo fans here in Dublin fairly down knowing we only have a week left in the championship...anyway pints for now yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11230 - 30/07/2016 20:21:19 1892473 Link 0 |
Watching Westmeath this evening has given me a glimmer of hope for Saturday, there are chinks in the Mayo armour that we can exploit but we will have to be at our very best, remember this is still division 2 versus division 1. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 30/07/2016 20:21:29 1892474 Link 0 |
I can't see past anything other than a comfortable mayo win Wally (Tyrone) - Posts: 912 - 30/07/2016 20:21:51 1892475 Link 0 |
Waynol you have more faith than I do Will take a big improvement for it to happen Tyrone have been going in the right direction lately Mayo on the other hand have been spinning their wheels But hopefully they'll wake up

Sam2008, how do you imagine Tyrone and Mayo will win. Perhaps reconsider your choices and I will give you a hint Galway/Tipp for the fourth spot, perhaps maybe!!!

Mayo a bit unnerved A couple of injury niggles added today Team formation not working well Roles not clear for Tyrone Joe McMahon now available to help finish out games Galway to do their usual fading act so Tyrone to win after Tipp take out a couple of Galway players Dublin Tyrone final provided Donegal oblige Dublin and that is not certain ( Kerry to old and stiff without young replacements gelling sorry!) cjx (Tyrone) - Posts: 270 - 30/07/2016 20:52:01 1892500 Link 0 |
Agree with Tyrone Mayo. The big advantage Tyrone have is the preparation time. Dublin are rightly big favourites over Donegal. Better team and have more time to prepare. Hope they're both cracking games. Whammo86 (Antrim) - Posts: 4221 - 30/07/2016 20:52:08 1892501 Link 0 |
