If Donegal and Mayo win this Saturday then it's a double header on Saturday the 6th of;

Tyrone v Mayo

Dublin v Donegal

Ok we have a problem both games would sell out on there own seen as their the 4 best supported teams in the country, tickets are going to be a nightmare to get, if these games happen is there any word of stand alone games?

Was confirmed two days ago will go ahead as double header regardless of pairings.

What choices have they if Q/Fs have to be played in Croker ? Reminder that we have to beat a good Westmeath team first. We're not playing well and Westmeath, not expecting to win Leinster, are surely set to peak for this game.

Possible options ?

Both games on the Saturday. Tight for tickets but great games to be at. Most likely option.

Tyrone game on Friday night in Croke Park. Too late to organise and would need a traffic plan, icecreams for local residents and more guards who are busy enough anyways.

Tyrone game on the Sunday with Waterford v Kilkenny and minor hurling.

If they go out of Croker then it'll be Tyrone game that'd be moved. No sense in missing a windfall bringing the Dubs down the country.

Tyrone v Westmeath in Breffni.

Tyrone v Mayo in Clones.

This is a little of point Clondalkin, but can Dublin only draw Cork or Donegal in the Q-final or can Dublin and Mayo meet?

Not sure if its drawn ? but only scenario in which its a "Draw" is if Mayo and Cork both win

Tyrone and Donegal cant meet - Dublin and Westmeath cant meet

so if either Westmeath or Donegal win then the draw regulates itself

IF and I've said "IF" on my first post Donegal beat Cork its Donegal v Dublin , if cork and Mayo then them two are in a draw to see who faces Dublin

If mayo and cork win there will be a draw to see who plays dublin and who plays tyrone. If donegal win, they will have to play dublin. If Westmeath win, they will have to play tyrone.

I can't believe they'll play it as a double header Mayo v Tyrone will draw a massive crowd and Dublin v Donegal would be a sell out on its own.

Can they not sell them as 2 separate games?

The Dubs won't come in until the half time of their own game anyway and the Mayo fans will surely want to hit the road after getting a thumping?

Would it sell out ?
Cant recall any quarter final double in recent years selling out
The Semi's - Dublin v Donegal- Dublin V Mayo did sell out the last two years fair enough (for a single header)

Think the Donegal/Armagh - Dublin/Monaghan in 2014 was about 70,000
so Tyrone/Mayo should draw a bigger crowd than Monaghan/Armagh - Also expect the Dubs fans would be up for prospect of giving Donegal a hammering - wouldn't actually expect Donegal to have as big a crowd as if they came through Ulster - The two games v Mayo in 13/15 wouldn't give a lot of people much appetite especially given the opposition

but if not it would be fairly close to a sell out all right

There was 70 thousand in 2013
for monaghan v Tyrone
Dublin v cork
then there was 72 thousand in 2014
For Donegal v Armagh
Dublin v monaghan.

Going on form it'll be Dublin and Kerry in the semi final on August 28th. With both sets of supporters and probably a lot of neutrals hoping for a classic, it'll be a sellout. Tickets available now, hopefully touts won't get many.

So long as people who have been going to their counties respective games all season thus far are sorted for their tickets, I'm not fussed about the people jumpin aboard their county bandwagon and if they miss out.

People with GAA season tickets, Parnell passes, Club 51 etc will all be sorted so good stuff and keep er lit!

Tickets should only be available via clubs. Anyone who not a member of a club IS a band-wagoner!

That's rubbish talk
Clubs are the worst place to try get tickets for big games. The amount of tickets that goes to people who do nothing in the club itself over people who coach kids is disgraceful. More public tickets the better that way anybody who wants to get one has the same opportunity. Season ticket scheme like parnell park or the gaa one is the way to go at moment to make sure you are rewarded for supporting your county.

Hogan tickets for Saturday on Seatwave for €130 already. It's legal but it's not right.

I've just been offered €80 for my 2 tickets (1 of them is a juvenile ticket) by a Donegal lad in work for himself and his kid. No chance.
