Radio station said 4500 in Pairc Ui Rinn, majority from Mayo, it's a shame Cork people didn't come out in larger numbers for a home game

About 5000 at omagh in horrendous conditions. Would love to hear the total attendance at gaa games this or any weekend. Especially when the overhyped 6 nations will be drowning us in hyperbole for the next two months.

It was the same for our fixture there last year riverboys. We outnumbered the home support. Their footballers don't get much support. A bit like our hurlers!

There was 4,800 in Cork. Mayo are great followers but they would have to have brought 2,500 to out number the home support. Did they do that? Some going if they did for a league match in January with half a team.

Incredible to get 30,000 in to Croke Park for a first round league match all be it a repeat of the All Ireland. Especially when you consider there was pretty much zero publicity around this fixture. The Leinster and Munster rugby teams struggle to get crowds like that even for big European fixtures with loads of media attention.

All in all some good attendances for week 1 of the league, supposed to be a good crowd at Kildare v Westmeath too. Some of the pre season competitions pulled in the crowds too, was it 7/8k at the McKenna cup final and 5k at the Waterford Crystal final.

They said on the radio there was very few in Portlaoise. Hard to imagine Laois and Galway drawing anything like 6,000, I'd say 600 would be more like it.

11,000 in Ballybofey....a record for a league game in Donegal I'm told. Great home crowd and big traveling support.

there must have been a few spoiled seats in the counting in croke park on saturday night
as a very dodgy 17thousand figure was given out, the main counters must have been in the rds doing the vote counting haha
id say was around 22 or 23 thousand actually there
no way was only half the attendance for the kerry game when you seen the areas that were filled.

Kerry v Donegal 7,056
Kilkenny Galway 7,402
Tipp Waterford 6,540

Didn't look like a massive crowd in Croke Park for the double header still probably 15 to 18k. These are serious crowds for a cold wet March weekend. I remember going to league games as young fella and there would be only a couple of thousand at them.

There is few interesting games left, I'd say the Rossies are drawing big crowds this year and they have games against Mayo and the Dubs to come. The Hyde will be rocking for them.

Anyone got any other figures.

Not for a while it won't! I'd say there was a small million in Longford on Sunday for the game against Down.
