I believe Donegal are , were Tyrone were in 2008 , people did write them off and were critical of them . yes tyrone lost against down and Donegal have yet to be beat in Ulster . but what i am saying also , is that its going to take a severe forward line to break down this donegal team down. solid at the back and some talented great forwards in murphy and young Mc BREARTY ta32 (Tyrone) - Posts: 4907 - 06/07/2015 12:57:54 1748351 Link 0 |

Dublin will win it comfortably so they will, Donegal are a pale shadow of their former selves as Patrick Spillane would say 4KHDoneill (Derry) - Posts: 182 - 06/07/2015 13:45:46 1748397 Link 0 |
And Pat Sillane is always right..... We should just give up now and save ourselves the time and money of traveling to these games because pat says so......... ben1977 (Donegal) - Posts: 364 - 06/07/2015 13:49:18 1748403 Link 0 |
If we win Ulster, and I believe we will, then we have a decent chance of a run at it but Dublin look like the team to beat this year. Tir Conaill Abu (Donegal) - Posts: 1671 - 06/07/2015 13:52:41 1748409 Link 0 |
I would believe the bookies on this one. We are around 6 to 1 to win it which means that 6 times out of 7 it will be the field, dublin or kerry. They sometimes do get it wrong, like last year, but the 2 finalists last year were around the same price at the beginning of the championship. I would say that we are in with an outside shout, but it is all or nothing re the ulster final at this stage. Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3830 - 06/07/2015 14:04:30 1748435 Link 0 |
IMO the Ulster final will lets us know a lot more about ourselves and especially if we win Ulster SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 06/07/2015 14:36:58 1748494 Link 0 |
It all depends how well they re-group after the Ulster final (replay) mhunicean_abu (Monaghan) - Posts: 1042 - 06/07/2015 14:48:21 1748510 Link 0 |
I would say Dublin are currently my favourites for the All Ireland, with Kerry and Donegal Joint 2nd, closely followed by Mayo, Monaghan, Cork and Tyrone. GaryMc82 (Derry) - Posts: 3017 - 06/07/2015 14:48:21 1748511 Link 0 |
And the Kerry lads sneakin along as usual and laughin at all the talk of someone else winning it. Will ye never learn. SLLY (Dublin) - Posts: 463 - 06/07/2015 14:56:42 1748524 Link 0 |

i believe the big 4 will navigate their way to the semi-finals as they are still ahead of the pack...and from there on in any of the 4 are capable of beating each other, Donegal and Dublin look great now but its a long summer and u want to be peaking come September...Dublin have done nothing in my eyes to prove they have learned from last year..beating two mediocre teams out the gate, soon to be 3 mediocre teams after next weekend is no good to them. ctownbigguy (Mayo) - Posts: 16 - 06/07/2015 16:12:41 1748654 Link 0 |

I don't think Kerry will sneak anywhere this year, too many eyes on them. They definitely came in under the radar last season, and I think the replay with Mayo really brought them on as a team. In saying that, Mayo probably threw both of those games away. Dublin are still the team to beat, they had scalped Kerry, Cork, Mayo, Monaghan, Kildare and anybody else who challenged them in 2013 and 2014. Donegal were the only side to beat them in Championship in the whole of 2013 and 2014, and Dublin have since tweaked their system to address those shortcomings. They are now even harder to beat, and I think it will take some effort to halt that train. SLLY (Dublin) - Posts: 463 - 06/07/2015 16:15:25 1748658 Link 0 |

I think the All Ireland series will be superb this year and a lot hinges on the Munster replay. A Cork win will likely take either of Dublin or Kerry out at the quarter final stage. A lot of people, myself included, expected Kerry to walk through Cork, all credit to Cork and it didn't happen so that game has huge bearing on the overall picture. seany16 (Dublin) - Posts: 1658 - 06/07/2015 16:36:26 1748683 Link 0 |
Looks like Dublin will bow out at QF stage pity i wfkerry (USA) - Posts: 933 - 06/07/2015 17:28:49 1748745 Link 0 |
I agree. I think the severe testing that both Cork and Kerry got yesterday, plus the inevitable competitive replay, will mean that the soft Jackeens will be up against it in the quarter, if we overcome Westmeath. The Jacks will also have a 3 week wait while Cork or Kerry will be coming hot off a replay. I fear for us, that we could be caught cold in early August. Time will tell but certainly Cork and Kerry are motoring at the moment. Joxer (Dublin) - Posts: 4698 - 06/07/2015 17:50:28 1748761 Link 0 |
There are some many possibilities as regards who are in the Q finals If the Munster losers win their back donor game it seems they play Dublin which would leave the winners playing maybe Mayo ( that's if they get there ) also who would the winners ot Donegal / Monaghan get? Now my take on it is these eight teams teams -Dublin, Kerry , cork Mayo Donegal Monaghan Derry Tyrone SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 07/07/2015 11:39:50 1749093 Link 0 |
