2015 AI a two horse race

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

The winners of next years AI will come from Kerry or Dublin. They are away ahead of the chasing pack.Dublin had a minor setback. This year with a small bit of tweaking they will be back as good as ever.Lets look at the rest Ulster. Donegal are gone by there sell by date will not win Ulster. Roscommon to win, we wont see Mayo for a while and Galway are up and coming. In Leinster there is only one team capable of winning Sam. In Munster Cork need another year before they will be contenders.

You are agreeing with the bookies here wfkerry. Dublin and Kerry are indeed well ahead of the field.

We might or might not be past our sell by date, but the reality is that we more than likely wont win ulster next year, as the percentages are against us big time. To win from the preliminary round, has only been done 3 times in the last 130 years. I wouldnt like to discount mayo as flippantly as that either. They were mighty close this year. Finally, Meath were very setback this year with injury and i would not be surprised to see them push hard in leinster and beyond next year. They and armagh could well be the 2 nightmare teams to draw in the quarter finals. All good craic to speculate about. I am looking forward to it already.

There's only one team in it and that's Kerry. Sure how could any other County match their magnificence. Now let's all bow in unison together!

Ya your dead right, definitely only between kerry or dublin, sure there's talk around here in mayo that we wont bother fielding a team at all this year, because how much kerry and dublin hammerd us in 13 and 14

Yes id say Dublin and Kerry will be the 2 to beat next year.Mayo,Cork and Donegal in next group.Meath,Tyrone,Monaghan,Kildare,Galway,Armagh can cause a shock but not good enough to win an All Ireland yet.

I'm expecting 4 Ulster quarter-finalists:
Kerry or Cork v Ulster runner-up
Ulster winner v Kerry or Cork
Dublin Region v Ulster qualifier
Mayo v Ulster qualifier

I don't think any of Ulster's quarter-final opponents will be taking them for granted. Armagh and Tyrone are coming from the north. For now we winter well. Ciarrai abu!

I wouldnt fear Armagh or Tyrone in the slightest. All is well in the capital. The city is brimming with halloween and Christmas anticipation. The buzz is back. And Sam will be back where he prefers next year.He loves city life.

The teams to beat next year will be Dublin and Mayo..... I firmly believe the change in mayo will help them......

Kerry won't win because they had to depend on star to do it this year, he along with o'mahony, Marc, Declan o sullivan will be running out of steam any day soon..... They will struggle defensively without that expeirence in there

Dublin are Dublin, serious outfit.....

Cork and donegal, nobody knows.......

Glad we got it sorted, sure you lads play out the All Ireland Final there and the rest of us will wait patiently to 2016.

Regards,

Everyone else in Ireland not from Dublin or Heaven...commonly referred to as 'Kerry' on here.

A whole year and learn nothing?A few sandwiches short of a picnic id say.Kerry and Dublin are the teams to beat for next year. There are no guarantees in sport. As in life. But this is the way i see it at present.

Kerry. Mayo and Armagh , Donegal with Dublin will be contenders I'd say. Kerry should be favourites alright. Slow start again will take some of the spotlight off them but should make final handy enough.

They said the team that would beat the capital would win the All-Ireland. We'll winter well. Ciarrai abu!

They surely would have but for a slip up and a forty five not being awarded but sure that's the way it goes.
It's all a matter now I suppose. Soft AI as they say. Great winter so far thank God.

Bit early to forecast anything but one thing for sure , over the last 3/4 years there has only been a kick of a ball between the top four teams and if they stay like that it could be the same old story in 2015.
With Kerry on the same side of the draw as the Ulster champions, quarter final or semi final could be very interesting. Will probably be the first tough game they will get anyway
If Mayo stay on top in CONNAUGHT it looks like DUBLIN v Mayo semi
My other way of looking at it is that Yoy could see Donegal come through the qualifiers ( will they really try and put so much effort into winning Ulster when you look at the draw) and could still be a dangerous team come August. But as regards forecasting think about August 31 gone by ( DUBLIN v Donegal) and ask yourself how many got it wrong , a good few in Donegal did not get it wrong as the bookies up there paid out massive money on the result.

Here we go again! Too early to predict what will happen next year at this stage. Dublin, Mayo, Kerry & Donegal will be the main contenders again. I fancy Mayo to finally get over the line under the new management but as I said already it's too early to know!

Of my god....people of Kerry, just sit back and enjoy winning this year for god sake.
What a crap post.

2015 will take care of itself in time. many things can happen or change.
Kerry are there to be shot at in 2014, mMyo & Donegal wil be around come August again . Plus there will be another 2/3 teams fancying their chances.
