Man caught up a tree!!!

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

A man was caught up a tree looking to spy on a Kerry training session in Killarney! Which of the Donegal posters on here was responsible?!

Are you sure it was a tree and not just the ground 'in transition'.

He might have been after a golf ball I hear the courses down there are tough and tree lined, or he was spying,

He was installing an aerial for the new Kerry phone company Tree Mobile.

I'm surprised at the normally astute and savvy Jim Mc going so low tech - such as man up a tree. Surely the Donegal County Board could employ a TY class somewhere in Donegal to assemble this DIY non-lethal Drone Kit from eBay for the palry sum of £19 pound sterling (techie jargon: U.S. Unmanned Reconnaissance RQ-170 Drone Aircraft Model Kit). It can be fitted with a webcam and WiFi at very little extra cost and there you go. Jimbo can watch the Kerry lads in HD in the comfort of his own. You can fit it with air-to-ground rockets but only the likes of Dublin CB could afford that type of thing.

Fair play to Jim mcguinness , using a tree is deffo a new tactic. No other manager would have tought of that :-)

I'm surprised at Kerry men falling for the old "man in tree" diversion!!

The man up the tree was only a decoy so that nobody would spot the drone circling overhead beaming pictures directly back to Jim's house in Glenties.

Not a new tactic for Jim, it was first unearthed 2 years ago in the O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny the day before an NFL game against Kildare. Kildare went for a light run out under the watchful eye of a member of the Donegal back room team who was hiding behind a tree.
