Something's telling me Laois but I think they'll get to the quarter finals at best . Hard to see where an underdog will come from

The nature of the draw nearly always allows for a potential upset in the quarter finals, but until the draw comes out its very hard to predict who that may be. Perhaps a team like Derry or Roscommon could make a move. We've also been waiting for the Tipperary footballers to win a big game but i don't think that will happen this year. Kildare probably need to win a big game under McGeeney this year, it may be last chance saloon for that regime. If Galway beat Mayo they could do something but its very hard to see the semi finals not consisting of one of Donegal, Mayo, Tyrone, Kerry, Cork or Dublin.

Leitrim have great chance of a Connacht final as said above. Cavan, Armagh, Fermanagh, Antrim and Monaghan have one side of Ulster all between themselves and not a lot between any of them really. Potentially any of them could make the final. In other provinces you're really looking at the back door and who knows, depends on the draw, but I think there is a good few Leinster counties (Kildare, Westmeath, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath even Offaly) who'll fancy their chances at whatever stage they end up in there and given a nice run could end up in a quarter final.

Dublin not winning Leinster would be an upset these days.

Would like to see Kildare do something beit at Leister or AI stage. Cork/Kerry not to win Munster. Referees not stealing the limelight from players.

I could see Monaghan and Laois reaching the quarter finals of the All-Ireland.

Mc ivor has Derry playing with confidence and after winning div2, might get to quarters. Id like Derry to do well.

A Connacht title and giving one of the big guns a good game in the quarters would rank as an underdog story for my county at the moment.

Flattering to see a few dubs tip up Derry but in reality we're still rebuilding , unlike Dublin, cork, Tyrone and Kerry who have depth in squad, if we get key players in the spine of the team injured then we struggle badly. However we have a good crop of young players coming through and mcivor needs a 4-5 year scheme to bring them through. I still think Kildare are a match for anyone on their day. And for some reason lately I'm thinking Armagh (if they get a run together) could put it up to anyone with , in my opinion, the best forward in the country, Jamie Clarke. Mckeever is a big miss for them, sure we'll wait and see, hopefully a couple of new teams emerge to break the stranglehold of the big 4.
