Just for fun guys, If you were to build a GAA XV out of premier league players who you feel would do a good job in each position on the GAA field. A defender doesnt have to play in defence for their PL club
--------------------Asmir Begovic--------------------------
Seamus Coleman-------Daniel Agger------------Leighton Baines
Rafael----------------Scott Parker-------------Jose Enrique
---------------Yaya Toure----Maroanne Fellaini-------------
Juan Mata------------David Silva----------------Wayne Rooney
Luis Suarez----------Andy Carroll---------------Jermain Defoe

Ho can you not have Theo Walcott on that team? Modern day gaelic football rewards lads that can run all day but have little ability...

Vidic would be a modern day Kevin Moran De Gea would make Cluxton's distribution distinctly average Scholes would spray balls and score at will for fun for Mayo where his mother is from Giggs would be an unbelievable wing forward and drop in the middle when needed Rooney would play centre back and maraude forward and bag scores, he'd be targeted for wind ups and would lose it and gouge Dick Clerkin in an Ulster championship match for Down Welbeck would play wing back and take West Meath to a semi Gerard would double up with his lookalike Cavangh and dominate the Tyrone midfield Darren Gibson would return to the North snub Derry and transfer to Antrim where he feels more loved at wing back Hernandez fastest man in the league would be a backs nightmare Ya Ya Toure would regularly solo the ball into his face Berbatov would move to Salthill and score with both feet from sideline balls Rafael and Fabio would move to Lahinch surf and form solid corner back positions for Clare Joey Barton wing forward for Roscommon, marry a local girl, pick up the local accent and do a spot of farming Gareth Bale centre forward for Donegal, got it all for a modern footballer Sam stays up in the hills

Solid up the center with Peter Crouch and Fellaini lording midfield. Yaya Toure would remind me of a Karl Lacey. Bale and Enrique would be two impressive wing backs with their pace. As for the half forward line I don't you'd get much faster. I would still have questions over their footballing abilities and who would be taking 45s? I wonder if these lads played from under 8s and 10s would they put it up to Kerry, Donegal and The Dubs?

Rafael-------Vincent Kompany------------Danny Rose
Kyle Walker----------------Phil Jones-------------Ashley Cole
--------------Ramires & Yaya Toure------------------
Juan Mata------------Oscar----------------Eden Hazard
Van Persie----------Lukaku---------------Gareth Bale
Beast full back line. No one gonna get round the big Belgian. Phil Jones to mop up every attack with Cole and Walker bombing forward.
Ramires to cover every blade of grass and switch from attack to defense in an instant. Yaya Toure to just be the animal he is and stride through the middle at his ease.
Oscar to spray some spectacular passes about while Hazard skins and Mata jinks around defenses.
Bale to come out around midfield and blitz the through the middle with his frightening runs and dazzling pace.
RVP to knock them over with the left peg all day.(Handy for the frees as well.) Lukaku for the long ball. No full back would be fit for him.

Oops, forgot yaya and Carroll. I'd probably find a place for them or maybe use them as impact subs!
