I seem to have read somewhere that the team which tops the division after all matches are completed will be promoted to Div 1A next year and will also take part in the playoff stages of Div 1A this year.Separately the runner up in Div 1B will play the winner of Div 1B.Could this be correct?

Nope. Div 1B winners and 2nd play-off in a final to decide who goes u. Like last year. Looking like Dublin and Limerick. And like last year I hope the 2nd place team wins the final! :)

Top two in 1b play each the winner is promoted, plus the winner joins the top 3 in div 1 for playoffs.

final is pencilled in for Sunday 7th of April (clashing with Munster Heineken Cup Game) so they will most likely fix it for the Saturday evening
