Who are we backing at the weekend?

My main bet will be a double on Tyrone @ 2/1 and Donegal by 1-3 points @ 11/4

I think there is a lot of value on Tyrone at 2/1, this game really is 50/50 in my opinion and if I was giving an edge to anyone it would be Tyrone.

For the other bet I was going to do Down +4 at Evens but I cant see Down winning by more than 2 or 3 points if they do manage it so would be losing a bit of value there. I've gone for the slightly riskier and perhaps more biased approach!

Another bet I was considering was there to be more scored in 2nd half than in the 1st in Down v Donegal (both halfs at evens). I feel it might be tight early on but open up as the legs begin to tire on both sides.

Any others?

Yes, Tyrone at 2/1 is very tempting!

meath @ 3/1 in from 4/1 so money going on, collected big last day v kildare also 4/1
this is very much 50/50 as meath dublin always are . dublin could win but 3/1 is just way too tempting in a game where form goes out the window

Meath still available @ 4/1 on skybet and Ladbrokes. I do agree that seems like a value bet although havent seen a lot of Meath or Dublin this year so didnt want to comment. Meath looked impressive against Kildare for the bits of the game I did see

I would go for Laois,kerry, Donegal,dublin,kildare, Tyrone minors,cork ladies,Tipp(home adv). Paying around 7-8 / 1 i think.worth £20

Laois to powerful for Leitrim
Kerry's forwards I think will have upper hand on Tyrones backs.
Donegal a bit too good and well organised for Down.
Dublin again a bit too good.
Kildare too powerful and fit for Limerick
Tyrone minors beat a good Derry side very convincingly.
Tipp home advantage is playing quite a part in this years qualifiers.

Meath -4 at 11/1 seems like decent value.

I hear the six forwards they have are good enough to beat the entire Dublin team on their own...

Aside from that Tipp and Tyrone in qualifiers with the Tyrone and Dublin minors pays at over 9/1 in some bookies.

Hasn't been too many draws so far in the championship this year either, might go for one or two this weekend, usually get odds of between 7/1 and 10/1 so might be worth a few quid, especially on the Tipp - Antrim or Kerry - Tyrone matches.

Put 5 on it and if it was to come in it would give back just over €90

Meath H/T and F/T @ 8/1 is worth a few bob, will pay for all the celebrations! Also PP are doing moneyback specials for goal-scoring bets for the Kerry/Tyrone, Down/Donegal and Meath/Dublin games, refund is there is a red card shown - which could very well happen in all three matches..

I would say Limerick at 9/2 against Kildare, but most of you won't believe me. That said, the handicap of +4 at 11/10 is incredible value in what will be one of the tightest games of the championship.

Kildare on the handicap may be the best bet of the weekend. I can see Limerick giving them a right game but Kildare should pull away in the last quarter and win by 6+. The Lilly's -6 is 6/5 with Paddy Power.

Just have a feeling that Kerry/Tyrone and Meath/Dublin will be draws!! For the craic, €10 on each game to end all square!

Also, I think Donegal will have too much for Down in Clones, Donegal -5 is 6/5 again with PP.

Finally here is an outrageous bet, an accumulator on all of the above: €10 on Kildare (-6 - 6/5), Donegal (-5, 6/5), Kerry/Tyrone (Draw - 15/2) and Meath/Dublin (Draw - 8/1). Return: €3, 702. Who knows? :-)
