Well done to the Ladies great win , hard luck to Mayo , 46 thousand brilliant to see it's only going to get bigger and bigger , no coincidence the two best supported teams in the country bring that crowd so well done to Mayo who are unbelievable supporters of their county.

Delighted for the Dubs. A lot of heartache for that team over the years.

Noelle Healy was superb in attack as was Sinéad Goldrick in defence.

Trant hit some sensational kick outs too right out to midfield.

Brilliant performance all round.

Delighted to see Cork not winning but sad to see mayo couldn't do it. What's with them and finals?

Anyway congrats Dublin. They were the best team all year.

Just enjoying temple bar in the aftermath of a fabulous day in croker, congratulations to the Jackies, great display. Hats off to Mayo who were right in the mix until the final 10 minutes and who, as always, brought a fantastic crowd to make an amazing atmosphere. Will be the one cheering the loudest when you win an AI title some day soon. COYGIB.

Mayo missed a lot of opportunities early in the game, Cora Staunton had an off day. Dublin missed a
number of goal opportunities. There was great football played. The speed and skill was very impressive.
A terrific atmosphere. Sinead Aherne is a class player. Dublin were much better in this game.
A great boost for Ladies football. Great to see so many of the Dublin men footballers at the game.

Hard luck to Mayo they made a great contribution to a great match. Congrats to Dublin who have failed so many times at this level, they were not to be denied, the goals in the end flattered the scoreline for me Healy was player of the match some great running and what an engine.

Congrats to Dublin, deservedly won the title, some Mayo players didn't perform, age is getting to them, ref hadn't a great day either, Staunton couldn't win a free unless her head was ripped off

Great occasion in Croke Park yesterday with a record crowd & loads of excitement. The rise of women's, I refuse to use the term "ladies", is one of the great initiatives of recent years & I look forward to the day when we have a sell out on finals day.

However I have to take issue with some of the comments made about the standard of football being played. In my view a good men's club team would have beaten the pick of the two finalists based on what I watched. I am not slagging off the women here but I don't think it serves anyone to fool ourselves into thinking otherwise.

Y not easy attending two finals in 2 weeks Mayo supporters are supreme considering the time and expense for Mayo people travelling to Dublin
