Is Dublin's 3 in a row Tarnished?

Does the fact that 2 of Dublins victories in their 3 in a row success came against Mayo tarnish what would otherwise be a great achievement? Discuss!

Against an unbelievably good mayo team? A mayo team that in a different era could have several all irelands. Stupid comment.

Football wise not at all, Mayo are a fine side who have really put it up to Dublin. Off field yes tarnished because of the massive unfair advantage and favouritism they get from Croke Park, officials and the media.

The two curses of the gael, alcohol and begrudgery.

The latter is well and truly alive here. Dublin won a deserved all-ireland in a tight game, a terrific game of football. They are deserving winners. In a one point loss the losing team will have many plays that might have changed the result.

Stephen Rochford was so gracious in defeat, he kept saying it's Dublin's day. Mayo seem to be the only county with the balls to go out and take on Dublin without any whining.

The majority of Leinster teams can't even get themselves into physical shape let alone mentally.

Dumbest thread. Was Kilkenny wins tarnished because Waterford never showed up? Or cork spent more time on strike than playing? Tipperary having managerial issues? Wise up.

Pathetic and spiteful thread, especially coming from a poster from a county that has won less All-Irelands in every grade of football than Mayo.

The two victories over Mayo came in a period where Dublin beat every team in Leinster out the gate - comfortably beat Tyrone , Monaghan and Donegal and beat Kerry although were under pressure for 35 minutes

Mayo only team to give them a tight game (x3) do I'm not sure I follow your logic ?

Yes it does poor teams when best teams were Tyrone and Armagh - they must have taken a holiday then.

Had Dublin played any other opposition today they'd have won that game by 10 plus points in third gear. They really had to work for their win today in what was an exciting game of football in an otherwise dull enough championship.

It is tarnished in that a lot of their players seem to take more than 4 paces with the ball. And get away with it.

Is that some slight on Mayo? They deserve more respect than that.
