Help needed. No RTE in my area

(Oldest Posts First)

Ladies and gentlemen im in a bit of a predicament tomorrow. I'm working all day, (no bank holiday in the north) and where I work has no RTE. Would any kind soul out there going to the game like to do a live periscope feed from the game? It would be very much appreciated.

Seriously? You're looking for someone to live stream the game to you meaning they'd have to watch it through a phone screen.

That's a bad cough you have. Do you really think you should go into work tomorrow?

Not sure. If not download Hola for Chrome, change to an Irish IP and log in to rte.ie/player

You think you have problems a cara/gael, my heart goes out to you as I can identify with that, you see sky is available in my area but I don't have access to it, think of the many households down south that don't have access to some games because of the sky deal.
The only two occasions in my life time that two Carlow championship games were televised live Sky had the honours, I happened to be out of the country, so for the Carlow / Dublin game, spent hours searching for a pub or somewhere like that to watch it but failed, for the Carlow/ Monaghan game we walked Purley and Kenley early in the day and failed again, I went back to the gaff, streamed KCLR lay back closed my eyes and pretended the picture had gone kaput, KCLR made my day, whatever about the result.
I solved my problem myself, well almost, - - - but not without the assistance of my new friend KCLR.

The game will be streamed live on the RTE player anywhere on the island of Ireland. So all you need is wifi (or a decent network connection) and a smartphone.

If anyone has a direct link for the player post it up please. In work and when I go in to RTE Player I can't see any word of the game - I click on RTÉ 2 Live and it comes up and says No Show scheduled on this channel. I look at the schedule down the side and according to it the next thing on RTÉ 2 is I Want a Pet at 13:40???

Cheers bumper - that was the one I was on and it too giving the same as previously. Must be that the IP addresses in here aren't registered in NI or the likes. Keeping up with the Live Tracker here.
