A double header in parc i caoimhe will be un fair to everyone inc Cork!

A double header would be madness. Sensible option would be clare v tipp in limerick and wex v wat in cork but who knows. Unfortunately I think nowlan park would be too small for wex v wat. If that is the case that's just under 30k so I'm assuming tipp and clare would bring more than 15k anyway is Cork has 45k capacity.

Just a point someone mentioned to me lately. Double headers aren't all they're cracked up to be and can kill a crowd at times as have the attendance aren't that into one of the games.

I think they will be both in cork but one on Saturday and the other on Sunday if they insist on pairc ui chaoimh getting these games.

Well that would be the most sensible thing to in my opinion but that doesn't mean the power that be will follow suit

Tipperary v Clare makes sense to be in Limerick.
Waterford v Wexford in Cork if ready but I'd say Thurles if not.

I'd be very surprised if Tipp-Clare isn't in Limerick

It's just mad that yet again we don't know where these matches will be played. PuC is either ready or it's not.

Defo agree its pretty neutral venue to me!!! It's not exactly Tipp's home pitch Clare play there more often than we do!!!

Makes sense up to 6 pm on Sunday evening. By this morning it should be straightforward. If PuC is ready then have it there if, if not then find other venues.

Do you want the semi final and final to be played in Thurles too so Tipp don't have to travel to any match?? :)

Any form of double header will make tickets a nightmare. Wexford and Waterford will easily bring well over 30k as we're both on a reasonable high. Make one of the minor matches as a warm up to stagger the crowds would be my suggestion.

As for tipp and clate I've no idea what their support levels are like this year but you'd imagine they'd sell more 20k meaning which would bring a double header over thurles capacity. Again a minor match could be used to bolster attendance while especially if in cork neutral supports would help get a second 30k plus crowd.

It wont suit when the supporters from four counties start looking for tickets

tipp v clare should be in limerick - put it as double header with cork v mayo football (fixed for limerick)
very unfair to get tipp and clare fans to travel to cork when limerick is closer

I agree but have a feeling the football we be used as an excuse for not bringing the hurling there. Ie give limerick a biggish game that should get a reasonable crowd to keep them happy and play hurling elsewhere.
