I read where Jamie Clarke got a BLACK card after only 15 seconds for pulling back an opponent. Referee was correct as he was with all the cards. Very tense dificult game with passion on and off the field but no quality.

If the All Blacks were from Ulster and they were playing a Blasket Islands XV you would still tip the Blasket Island team. You fool no one, you don't like Ulster sides and have never had a good word to say about them. You wouldn't tip the Ulster entrant to win in a one horse race.

It wasn't a black - simple. Let's hope Sunday game shows it. Anyone who thinks that's a black must have a good look at themselves. You'd see that a dozen times in a match. The black card is very well defined but the refs are all applying the application of it differently. The Morgan incident I didn't see clearly enough. Both men were running and then both ended up on the ground. I can't honestly say if Morgan took him out or just a simple collision. Hopefully these will be shown on Telly tonight. For me, black card is not required as the refs don't know which incident is and which isn't. The ref refused to let the game have any flow and WM lay down at every opportunity. Gaelic Football used to be a manly game. It's a nancies game now. Just look at the muster hurling final. We need hurling refs to take control of the football games and we might see a real game. It was not a body check - it was a shoulder off the ball. Go and look at it objectively. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFha7EUQH3M It's not as if the corner back was trying to give and hit the space and was then taken out of it by a deliberate body check. In fact, look at it again, the number 4 from Westmeath knew the hit was coming and just wasn't strong enough to take it and hit the deck. The hit was on the shoulder - not a body check. That in no way is a black card under the guidelines that were issued by the GAA. The problem with the black card now is that there are so many interpretations of what is and what is not that not even the refs are clear about it. If that's a standard black card, Gaelic Football is in big trouble as an another poster said it will be a 5 aside game after 20 mins. Happens quite a lot in many matches i've seen this year at home and on telly. I am not saying it isn't a foul - it is. But it aint a black card under the GAA's rules for a black card - that's all i'm saying.
