Laois 6/5 to beat Clare looks a steal Inaroundehouse (Cavan) - Posts: 975 - 29/06/2017 12:19:01 2007382 Link 0 |
I'd argue the opposite and say Clare at 10/11 is decent odds

A team relegated to Division 4, hammered by Kildare v a Division 2 beaten by Kerry by 6 points. I hope you get lucky but I think Laois are closer to 11/5 than 6/5 to beat a good Clare side.

Clare look rock solid at even money. Bet of the weekend JJ1 (Kildare) - Posts: 547 - 29/06/2017 15:38:41 2007518 Link 0 |
Meath -4 is surely the bet of the weekend, think there be a big response from Meath and the match is in navan, meath should win this with plenty to spare Royal.Legend (Meath) - Posts: 665 - 01/07/2017 12:53:29 2008306 Link 1 |
Usually when people hold opposite views like this the game ends in a draw!

I think Mayo to win both halves v Derry @4/6 with Clare to beat Laois @EVS in a double for todays GAA is a winning bet for sure KY4SAM2015 (Kerry) - Posts: 898 - 01/07/2017 14:46:24 2008351 Link 0 |
You were proved right. Surprised so many people thought a team relegated to division 4 would beat a division 2 team who more importantly made the quarter finals last year and put it up to Kerry this year.

I was but I kept my money in my pocket with the football this weekend. Nothing else appealing for an accumulator and the hurling handicaps were too hard to figure out! Laois have big problems tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 02/07/2017 09:57:54 2008781 Link 0 |
Ye must be the most confident supporters of any team that ever played sport. Even when things have been so bad over the last few years ye always expect to beat everyone!

That's never a bad thing. No point in having skills if you're lacking in self-confidence.

Ye but what about no skills and loads of confidence??!!

what has the skills of the supporters got to do with it? Supporters can't kick points. A team should always have belief but I'm amazed how Meaths supporters continually expect to go far in the cship and even beat Dublin despite them being so poor in recent years Maybe it's better than us in tipp where we do the opposite. We've all written off both teams chances this year already. Will still support them But we have to be realistic too. tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 02/07/2017 11:06:02 2008823 Link 0 |
Got that one wrong allright, meath are now 150-1 to win Sam must be the longest odds we've ever had to land the all Ireland

Are you sure there is not a zero missing off the end of that?

It'll get you further than no skills and no confidence!
