Calre will fancy this draw and as one of their players was quoted as saying ..."Its the draw we wanted but only at home" showing what they think of the recent decline of Laois. Laois can produce some great football at times especially in O'Moore Park and I think the cocky clare men might get a shock here. This is a good Laois team who seem to have lost their way this year. From really putting it up to Dublin two years ago to Div.4 this year. I think a huge wake up call is needed. This was always an easy Clare win and then see how they progress against an established team. Clare and Laois are in different stratospheres at the moment. Claire a comfortable division 2 team looking to improve and somehow get to top division and regular qtr final level and Laois division 4 and 2/3 champ games a year. It will take a good 5 years at least to change this for Laois. Trust me as a man that has watched Cork fall to a similar position.
