iv looked at the negative comments towards cork with most people predicting a waterford win, some people [cork people} saying more or less no chance all proven wrong , i just want to say now EVERY CHANCE from here on in with this man lehane the guy is sheer class as iv always said and while others will disagree for me he is the best player in ireland by a country mile sheer class,of course other countys will be very quick to shoot me down saying this guy is better and that guy is better but im having none of it kingston is really getting the best out of him the man is mercurial a magician roll on munster final day CAN NOT WAIT blackrockeddie (Cork) - Posts: 160 - 21/06/2017 23:22:16 2003322 Link 0 |

Setting him up for a big fall ! Undoubted talent but you could not put him in the same bracket as Callinan, Hogan, Reid yet. A lot more big games on big days first. Cornerback1977 (Cork) - Posts: 67 - 22/06/2017 01:07:22 2003340 Link 0 |
A lot of his scores come on the counter attack cos he hugs the sideline like a soccer winger. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 22/06/2017 05:18:42 2003347 Link 0 |
OK eddie, you were ahead of the curve predicting a Cork resurgence and well done for that but don't get carried away with yourself. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 22/06/2017 07:33:28 2003349 Link 0 |
More respect for original poster if they had posted this BEFORE the game , horse bolted out the door with a rebel on his back Damothedub (Dublin) - Posts: 5193 - 22/06/2017 08:45:37 2003368 Link 0 |
Don't forget Joe Canning. To my mind, he is the best hurler of the last 10 years and that includes Shefflin and Co. Galway are current All Ireland favourites, and rightly so. Hopefully, we'll see some more great displays from Canning and Conor Lehane. Tipp and Kilkenny still lurking in background...this year's hurling is best in years...with resurgent Cork and Wexford. Looking back on my posts....accurately predicted Cork resurgence. Kieran Kingston has done wonders for this team. Replying To therealtmo: "Cork will have to come up with a complete different game plan for Waterford. The middle will be so packed the next day they won't be able to get the free puck outs they got yesterday. looking forward to the semi finals already Limerick and Clare should be a great game also" My reply: Remember the league game this year in Walsh Park? Cork crowded out midfield and beat Waterford handily. I thought that was their best game this year. I think Cork can grow in confidence...some tightening up and more man marking in half back line, and I can see real progress with this team. Very good depth in the bench. ...Lorcan McLoughlin, Luke Farrell and Michael Cahalane. I see Galway coming out of Leinster.....In fact will be hard to beat this year. The Qualifiers will be a minefield. Rockies (Cork) - Posts:217 - 22/05/2017 14:09:44 1989369 Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 22/06/2017 10:12:30 2003408 Link 0 |
Lighten up Corkcelt. Blackrockeddie may be a little over the top...but he balances up the ultra negative Cork posters I have encountered on this website. Enjoy the game and the moment. Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 22/06/2017 10:16:10 2003412 Link 0 |
I was not talking about match predictions , I was talking about this post Lehane the best etc etc etc

True...in today's game....lots of stars....guess "blackrockeddie" jumping on bandwagon after Sunday's game.

It's a delight to watch Conor Lehane collect the ball on the left wing...because odds are that he will knock it over the bar from that position. Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 23/06/2017 14:49:05 2004041 Link 0 |
Fans like you give the rest of us a bad name. No doubt Lehane has played superb but we've only played 2 championship games this year. Come back in August with this topic. pkboher (Cork) - Posts: 49 - 23/06/2017 18:41:36 2004132 Link 1 |

Hopefully, by August we'll have lowered Clare's banner, and will be firmly crowned as King's of Munster. I wonder if Man Utd supporters worry about what Liverpool or Arsenal supporters think of them?
