Following the conclusion of the Leinster and Munster SHC semi-finals last weekend, the focus now switches to the All-Ireland qualifiers with Laois taking on Carlow in the preliminary round on Sunday.

There's a couple of reasons why Laois could win this game, one is because it's being played in O'Moore park, but the Carlow performance in the CR cup final suggests to me that Carlow have a good chance in winning this one, but only just, a couple of points perhaps.

Carlow in with a great chance momentum is with them and Laois seem to have few injuries plus after the thumping by Wexford they might be there for the taking.
I'm gonna say Carlow by 3.
