Will be a good enough match. Limerick has slightly improved in division four but sadly nothing major. Clare had a solid enough division 2 campaign, Clare done very well in the championship last year also. Gary Brennan was excellent with another few playing well last year. Going for a Clare win. They are a good team that could be up and coming in Munster alike to Tipperary, also the fact they are playing at home. oakleafersir (Derry) - Posts: 808 - 21/05/2017 23:58:52 1989084 Link 0 |
i would go along with everything you have said - its a young mostly in experienced limerick side, i think we have a chance but i would still be predicting a clare win - but i think limerick will be competitive, got some good young lads and we were very competitive against them last year. janesboro (Limerick) - Posts: 1502 - 22/05/2017 10:59:23 1989223 Link 2 |

All our best footballers are playing soccer and rugby instead unfortunately but we've had decent underage recently so hopefully things are looking up. blackspot91 (Limerick) - Posts: 1055 - 23/05/2017 19:17:34 1989964 Link 0 |
If Limerick turn up they will give Clare a game. Even last year it was an open game Limerick could have won it only for Clare to get vital scores. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 23/05/2017 19:49:19 1989978 Link 0 |
Be shocked if Limerick win to be honest. Clare should be looking to make a statement here. Clare by 7 plus LohansRedHelmet (Clare) - Posts: 2432 - 24/05/2017 02:28:24 1990071 Link 0 |
Clare survived in Div 2 ahead of some very good sides. Limerick finished 4th in Div 4, but only losing to the top 3 teams Westmeath, Wexford & Carlow. The Real 1944 (Carlow) - Posts: 1114 - 25/05/2017 01:07:05 1990483 Link 0 |
Form says Clare but I'm going to throw Limerick into my accum. I'd be surprised if there's more than a few points in it either way tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 25/05/2017 15:49:51 1990709 Link 0 |

Unfortunately other really good forwards like Eoghan O Connor are declining to play for various reasons and several promising U21s who have competed well with cork and kerry have gone stateside for the summer.

better side won - limerick played well and hung in there - clare missed some goal chances eased off a little near end- reasonable crowd - around 3500-4000 inc kids ,we have a very inexperienced side so this game will give us hope for first round of qualifiers. janesboro (Limerick) - Posts: 1502 - 01/06/2017 12:09:42 1992998 Link 0 |
