if Carlow beat Wexford on the 21st May they will be awarded with a day out against Dublin in Portlaoise. Blackbog (Carlow) - Posts: 702 - 04/05/2017 20:46:16 1984582 Link 4 |
Well if they have more season tickets than the ground holds, it cant be played there. Simple really!

Nice idea, blackbog and good luck to ya on that but can't see it being discussed at all because of the potential revenue loss however neither can I see anything more than 45/50% or less of dub's going no matter where its played, no offence, remember back to the Nolan park fiasco

Agreed. Anyway there won't be anymore than 15000 at the game and Doctor Cullen park is well able to hold that and more. I'm wondering did Carlow Co Board even look for the game?

There was over 16thousand dubs in nowlan park and around 50 laois supporters so I don't see how you can have a pop at Dublin supporters. on this game well you cannot have a ticket scheme guaranteeing people who purchase one a ticket to all the games in the season and then turn around and deny them a ticket for certain games as they would legally find themselves in trouble and next season people wouldn't opt to renew or join the scheme as they would see it as pointless that your not getting what your signing up for. if wexford win against Carlow they could also find themselves in danger of not hosting the game according to their chairman the stand only accomadates 4,500 and with Dublin season ticket holders and Parnell pass stand ticket holders you would not be able to accommodate any public sale of stand tickets in either county he reckons. hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 05/05/2017 10:11:33 1984643 Link 0 |
Dublin will play wherever they are told to play by the rest of the Leinster counties. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13692 - 05/05/2017 11:32:21 1984658 Link 0 |
