My favourite provincial championship of them all football and hurling. Always like to travel down for some of the games and always fierce battles and good rivalries. ciaran1988 (Antrim) - Posts: 86 - 19/04/2017 23:45:05 1980970 Link 0 |
At face value you would have to say no. Tipperary will prove too strong for Cork but Waterford have been waiting in the long grass to meet them in the semi and it would not surprise me at all to see them catch Tipp. If cork could by some miracle beat Tipp then it becomes without a doubt the most open Munster championship in memory. Clare v Tipp final for me with Tipp winning out. LohansRedHelmet (Clare) - Posts: 2431 - 20/04/2017 02:29:08 1980995 Link 0 |
If we are lucky enough to retain it we'll to do it the hard way by beating Cork, Waterford and Limerick/Clare. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 20/04/2017 02:41:26 1981000 Link 0 |
tipp are that bit stronger than every1 else in munster...ive said it all along so ill say it again, i think waterford are at that stage now where we have the beating of kilkenny...i think if we could get over tipp we'd win the all ireland in september...but tipp are showing ferrocious potential recently...could go on to win another 1 or 2 championships. tipp v clare munster final. juniorjudge (Waterford) - Posts: 383 - 20/04/2017 12:02:50 1981084 Link 0 |
Waterford haven't won Munster since 2010 and they haven't beaten anyone of note (KK, Tipp, Galway) in the championship in the last few years. If they meet Tipp in Munster this year, they have to show the same fight they showed against Kilkenny (2016) and Cork (every year). For some reason they seemed to lie down against Tipp in the last number of years, even when Tipp were average.

Building Tipp up on the back of a few league wins it's madness. When KK put it up to us in the league in Thurles this year what happened ? Still big questions over Tipp. therealtmo (Tipperary) - Posts: 1292 - 21/04/2017 15:50:58 1981504 Link 0 |
Looks like we will be without Jason Forde for two games this summer. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 21/04/2017 16:06:32 1981511 Link 0 |
Munster Championship is always open in my view. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 21/04/2017 17:09:24 1981526 Link 0 |
Think Tipp will beat Cork and go on to beat Waterford in the semi although i expect waterford to give them a mighty battle this time. Condorman (Dublin) - Posts: 983 - 21/04/2017 17:49:34 1981535 Link 0 |
I think Tipperary are the best team and are justified favourites. I think Cork might just come up short against them. Waterford to beat Tipp in the semi. The other semi is a toss up. Clare are favourites but it'll be tight. Limericks v Waterford Munster final in Cork. Limerick to win. bloodyban (Limerick) - Posts: 1710 - 21/04/2017 20:01:47 1981559 Link 0 |
I think Tipp will beat Cork. But if Waterford fail to beat Tipp this year I think it will do massive damage to Waterford if Tipp were to beat them again.
