a class act and a pleasure to watch yesterday battered and bruised and in retalliation fought hard won every ball and helped punish tipp by setting up goals and point chances for kk and imo i think he did this in fine style yesterday also..

A wonderful player that has the heart of a lion and the composure to control it. A true legend.

If Tommy isn't the greatest of all time, then who is?

The man will get an All-Star on Sunday's performance alone, even though he hasn't been hectic all year.

Tommy never gets pulled up on his behaviour because hes a Kilkenny player . Seen him pulling across a lads chest this year, tackling a person by the helmet. Look hes a aggressive little fella....and has a great hand when catching a ball.

Tommy is the best hurler I have seen. Pound for pound no one can come near him. Its very hard to compare backs and forwards but Tommy has won All Ireland and All Stars in the backs, forwards and midfield. It is an honour to be able to see him play.

Muhammed Ali once said that if he was called by God to a holy war he would want Joe Frazier with him....same applies for Tommy Walsh

the mans a hero. he beat tipp last year with his catching and diagonal balls into shefflin. what way will galway approach him for the final? i doubt anyone will try and get him sent off again after sunday. tipp and kilkenny is a pretty big rivalry or was until sunday and he just laughed off the fools from tipp trying to get under his skin.

Better than JJ? In my opinion, yes he is. The man has put in an unbelievable amount of outstanding performances. I actually don't think he played that well on Sunday (for him) but he still hardly put a foot wrong.

Don't forget he started life as a wing forward too and was a great man for a few scores every game. His move to the half back line was inspired.

He's the only player who can rival Shefflin as the best I've ever seen.
