Gooch on Tyrone

Probably the same kind of person that gets annoyed by things like the pedestrianization of Norwich City Centre

Must have been someone who's just a bit slow on the uptake.

Don't know what they had for breakfast. Presumably an infected spinal column in a bap.

How many bums did Colm Cooper's name on the teamsheet put on seats in a stadium or watching him on live TV? People in awe of his skills dying to watch him play. How much money did the GAA take in on the strength of his games. How much more money could TV companies charge for Hooch games. How many choppers, pubs, taxis etc near them grounds benefited? How much did the government take in on taxes from above? He got nothing for playing. He's entitled to get something back. Even if it seems against the amateur GAA ethos. He was magic."
I didn't hear that interview greenandred but I suppose it makes sense all right although it was more than just gooch that filled those seats, but then again maybe the other lads of that era weren't approached about a testimonial, or were they and we didn't hear about it !

Wow not 1 but 3 replies, slow day?

As for you Dublin28 above, I care a fig what you think of my posting. Put some more red thumbs on here now. Maybe someday someone on here will stop posting because he want's to be in with the cool kids cartel on here. It won't be me or Kingdomboy

Because they were more popular players, that doesn't mean necessarily they were more integral to the team etc, its just the way life is.

I'm sure you understand the concept of popularity, all your ass kissing to Dublin on here makes you very popular with the Dublin back-slappers that now dominate this forum.

It's at the bottom of the page. The live show is a bit hipstery laddish SoccerAMish for my tastes. I prefer the GAA hour, but there are worse sports TV shows here or abroad. The Aussie lad is no addition though.

Hey man, you started this a long time ago. Don't be getting stroppy now because I choose not to put up with it. If you don't want to interact, ignore me it's very simple. I choose to ignore what you say most of the time.

Haha, "you started it". I asked a straightforward question about Gooch/Tom O'Sullivan and you went off on one instead of answering it. It's fairly obvious who's being stroppy here.

Or blow smoke up your ars7 and avoid anything remotely controversial
But having taken the time to read your post I'm convinced you DIDNT TAKE THE TIME to read the actual Gooch extract how could when you describe the Gooch as crying , he was complimentary of a team he admitted he didn't like.

By the way as a Dub no axe to grind but did take the time to read the Godman post before posting"
He has made many comments about the abuse he took from Tyrone not just the book and that's what I am sick of hearing - I hate this attitude he has - I respect Tyrone but........

:-0 no way the hermit, they were manly men and the honeys loved them :-€

No seriously though top gun was an excellent film that cleaned up in the oscars in 1985 if I remember correctly and totally defined a generation.
