I will be very surprised if Kildare don't beat Meath with ease today. Meath are a very average team.

Kildare getting ridiculous soft frees

Kildare dont look like a team that will challenge for Leinster never mind Sam. They are full of bulked up physical athletes but they have very few footballers on the team. They are playing to a system that suits brawny footballers but its not pretty to watch. Another negative for Kildare is the fact thet they just dont score goals in games and their forward rarely shoot for goal for fear of a turnover. Would like to see Meath winning because at least they are trying to play decent football.

Very even but I get the feeling if either team can get a goal it will be the winning of the game. Good game, some of the finishing is poor.
Kildare pumped a good few ball in and only won 50% of them. The problem after that is there is nobody running up the middle to take a pass. The half forward line for Kildare is too far up the field when the balls are pumped in.
Still if there was any chance that we beat Dublin I think I would still prefer Meath in the final.

Kildare have had some soft decisions go their way, not sure how James Kavanagh evaded a booking for bringing down young Forde while a couple of Meath players have been brought down for lesser offences.

Another game ruined by a ref. Christ I think there was a comment about the ref being biased to Kildare, I didn't see that if anything it was the complete opposite. Was a great game until the sending off and then Meath got a free when it should have been a free out for over carrying and they scored a goal.

Congratulations to Meath on a royal performance and a great victory.

Terrific second half by Meath, they did themselves proud, as for Kildare well enough said on them, well done to Meath.

Kildare were in a no win game for them. had they won we would have had manly the Dubs on hear saying it was only Meath and lose it would be they cant even beat Meath
