Replying To cjx:  "If Mickey Harte trusts his players and let's them express themselves while still maintaining the defensive framework they work too then they will win. I believe the younger players are intimidated by the current set up hence the scared shooting that takes the heart out of them.
The squad has the potiental needed. Mickey must stop being a control freak and prove he really believes in his players to win anything more!"
Totally agree - Mickey is going to be the difference between the 2 teams and while he has to be commended for what he did in noughties he has to accept what's happening now. But he can put it right this year if he allows his players play with the obvious flair and skill they have in abundance.

Mickey Harte has done great things for Tyrone football in the past and you would wonder who will be able to step in when he does move on but is he still caught in the same style and structure that worked so effectively with the players he had at his disposal 10 years ago and cannot alter that to suit this current crop ?
Now perhaps that group were just better and he is still trying to recapture what was a golden period for Tyrone with a lesser side.

Donegal have been awful so far

Some of Tyrones scores have been irresistible in fairness.

Donegal have been opened up a few times here at will.... A 10+ point half time margain wouldn't flatter them.. Looks like itll be few less than that ..

Great first half performance from Tyrone. Hard to see how Donegal can come back from 7 points down.

So far so good for Tyrone - it looks like mickey has asked his players to play the way they can do.

Very poor from Donegal, being completely dominated by Tyrone at the moment. Difficult to see what Rory Gallagher can do to change the course of the game. Not impressed with the ref.

If Mark Bradley got a black card for what he did in the build up to his point, why does the score stand?

I'm usually very critical of the referees but I actually feel sorry for Gough. Its impossible to officiate the black card correctly.

The black card in its current existence is the greatest load of sh&t.

Biff....Bang.....Whallop! Donegal look shellshocked. Tyrone seriously impressive, at last realising that you have to attack and take teams on to win games and titles.

Umpires can call cards. Can't call fouls.

You and me both.
Two games this weekend that I thought would be tight, and both were effectively walk overs.

Great performance from tyrone but you have to factor in that Donegal didn't show up today

I did say many weeks ago that Donegal reminded me of Roscommon 2016 when mirroring their early league form while igniting a bit of hype..
