Replying To Laois76:  "Rossies would want to be be at full strength with all their resources at hand to beat Mayo in Croke Park. If i'm proven wrong i'll gladly eat humble pie. Have been bigger shocks in the quarter finals."
Time to get the child of Prague out so!!!!!!!

Replying To moros:  "Ciaran Whelan after giving the thumbs up to a comfortable Mayo victory. According to the main pundits/analysts we haven't a hope at all. The reality is though that Ros won't be taken seriously until they take a big scalp in Croke Park....so the scene is set. ..."
That's the big and the small of it. Roscommon will get no credit until they do just that.
Very possible at the minute but will still need Roscommon to be 100% or it's bye bye.

Exactly...it's often bright when I leave the pub...start of morning! There will be plenty of those in Galway next week with the races....along with those walks of shame

Kevin McStay named his Roscommon team on Sunday afternoon and it will start as selected. Rochford named his team tonight and everyone knows that team won't start as selected.

The future is bright, the future is Primrose & Blue. McStay and McHale to bring the downfall of their old county. Young Rossies to run riot around tired Mayo. Up the Rossies!!!

I don't know why Rochford bothers naming these dummy teams...the dogs on the street know Jason Doherty will be starting

I don't under stand his mentality thinking he's fooling everyone naming dummy teams and pretending lads are injured. He was at the same crap before the Derry game claiming Keegan was injured and now with parsons. Seems desperate

Unusual feeling for us in that for a change the whole country is against Mayo...in a weird way I like it...backs against the walls stuff. Is this how Dublin feel ? ;)

Maybe not tomorrow.Mayo are a very seasoned and experienced Croke Park team and Roscommon are young and it really would be expecting a lot. However, I do expect this Roscommon team to grow and mature over the next few years under Kevin McStay. We haven't won a senior championship game in Croke Park since August 1980.I really doubt that will change tomorrow but I certainly expect it to change over the next few years.

I only see this going one of two ways. Either Mayo will grind out another victory on their long march or they'll win it quite handily in the end.

By all consensus Mayo are not playing well but yet here they are in a quarter final against the weakest of the provincial champions.

A Mayo v Kerry semi final awaits and it could be epic.

The "everyone roots for Mayo" narrative hasn't been the case for a few years now. Round 2014 or so the tide starting turning

The one thing making me think maybe Rossies can do this is the 3 games in 3 weeks, and 2 going to ET.
That has to take its toll on Mayo
I have a feeling Roscommon will win this

Having the Rossies in the semi final would diminish the tournament if truth be told.
Rather have all the big guns in it as it creates interest.

Roscommon will be in the semi final on merit if we win tomorrow.Best of luck to Mayo in the semi final if tomorrow's their day.Three Connacht teams in Croke Park tomorrow which is great but a Connacht team hasn't won the All-Ireland senior football title for 16 years and that's far too long.

No place for Mayo their either so, would make a mockery of the competition having the third best team in Connacht in it
